It goes in my daypack now, but those shots above I was still shooting out of the jeep--so I had the heavy stuff.

In the daypack goes the 16, CV 21/4, 28 OR 35 CV skopars (but not both), leica 50/2 v4, leica 90/2.8 tele-elmarit and my new champion:


1969 Canon LTM 135/3.8 which destroys all my newer 135s.

Thanks for the kit low down Charlie. The Canon certainly looks a bargain. You're not a zoom lens fan then? Those range finder lenses certainly make a nice light set up.

Richard, I fell in love with the first shot from first sight. I immediately showed it to my better half and she just said "OMG, beautiful"... Many thanks for sharing.

shooting towards the late sun with tele-elmarit:



Smoky Mountains with fire haze:



took me quite a while to realise just how good the little tele-elmarit 90/2.8 really is....note the peak in center left, Big Peak, it's called. I have some decent shots of it from 10 miles on the other side I took a few weeks ago, I'll put up later.

The smokies are full of huge ridgelines, which can get confusing, but Big Peak is recognisable from all angles.
