Another new Sony DSLR in the pipeline?

Thanks David and Sonolta for your excellent reviews above. It is quite clear to me that the Sony sensors used in the D90 & D5000 are indeed displaying substantial improvements over the A700 sensor even although the Mp rating remains at 12Mp and the Nikons also beat the Canons. My conclusion is clear. Being currently satisfied with my A350/700 combination for what they have to do but wanting an improved A700 I am quite happy to sit back until Sony sees fit to offer us a camera that can match or improve on Nikon's D90/5000 offerings. I do hope that such a camera will see the light of day this year. I do wish a larger sensor than the A700 as I use the Sigma 10-20 quite a lot and reduce distortion & crop so I would like more pixels to be left, but a sensor that would allow for more upsizing without losing detail would maybe also do. Time will show.
