Image quality of A33

I can see some effects of the mirror glass in very bright details with sharp outlines appearing towards the bottom of landscape format frames - a trace of double of ghost imaging which can not be clearly seen, but gives the detail a certain look. But the mirror has only spoiled a few shots directly into bright light sources.

The 16 MP sensor in A580/A55 is better than the sensor in Nex-5/A33. That was clear from IR images. As for A55 and A580, there is no difference in IQ until ISO 1600. A580 looks better at higher ISOs.

Just the fact that they use the kit lens on one camera and the Zeiss 24 f2.0 in the other camera make the comparative "unfair" -even if the A580+ZA24 supposedly had more chance to "win".
It's a waste of time. Let's better go open that wine bottle and have a good time.
