I have not been on the forum for a while now. I am glad to be back (again). I realized that I have not done (m)any macros in 2012 so I set upon to correct my oversight. Here is one from yesterday using Kiron 80-200 and tubes on A900.

Ran into this spider today
taken with the 70-300 at about 1meter distans on freehand and the spider is about 2cm across.

Very nice colours in your flowers Sury

Yikes Dennis! Very effective way you got the two primary eyes in focus on the second arachnaphobia shot. I like the shallow dof - it seems to emphasise the way the spider is looking at you (and probably calculating how long it will take to cocoon you!).

I likes the way this hinge on the garden gate is very slowly disintegrating in the sea air here.

Love the hinge, the laminations in the steel just peeling away like sheets of paper on a notepad.
I can see you are enjoying the break, hope the rest of the family are like minded.

thanks Mike . Family very happy. The other half was treated to a birthday meal at the Three Chimneys (credit card in melt down - ouch ), and the small person is at Granny's house which is as close to Nirvana for her as it is possible to get on earth .
