I assume these a re tripod shots. Set the camera up while in the truck. Then use a cable release.

Good question Dusty.

I checked my archives, and could not find a single one with gents playing.
From my vantage and the time of the day seems like it was all women. I was trying to get some
action shots with players catching some air using 70-400.
I was there to support my two ladies (wife and daughter) who were participating in Santa Cruz
half marathon. The tents in the first picture is the finish line.

Nice shot Ken. Perhaps not so a tight crop would have been more effective, IMHO.
