Beautiful landscape. Great tones and textures. For me I would have preferred a little less “movement” in the water. It is a beautiful scene and seeing a more natural, but not ‘frozen” rendition of the water to my eye would enhance the image. The mono treatment works extremely well but I would also love to see a colour version.

That waterfall is fantastic! Great photo! This is a couple of mine although not as sweet as yours. The second one is sort of B&W.

Thank you Ossie . Always tricky with water as I think different people like a different look. I do feel in this picture of mine it is neither fast enough to have the structure you suggest, or slow enough to provide the really smooth flow some people like. I felt the colour version was too distracting from the water flow. I have some other water fall / stream pictures in colour from my April trip so they should be along soon.

Thank you Ken . I imagine that B&W works really well for the abandoned buildings - leaves out the distraction of colours and focuses on the textures and shapes.

Yes it does. It works great on old abandon cars and machinery as well. It's kind of funny that with all the advancements in digital and color processing that we sometimes still stick to good old B&W.

I love both of them for different reasons. I am not sure it is intended, I see first
one as hitting hard times and the second one is more of offering "rays" of hope, ok
may be beam of hope.

You are correct also but I guess I never think of B&W that way. Well we are off for South Dakota in a short while. I'm really hoping to get some good shots of the bald eagles this trip. It's the 3rd time we have gone to get them. Haven't got one photo of them yet. Maybe the third time is the charm! I can only hope.

This is the inside of the school house that's falling down.

Looking at the second image, it looks like you took some risks photographing
the interior. Hope it was not as dangerous at it looks (with caving in roof etc).
Love the first one with two tone effect.

Actually the floor was pretty solid. The one with the stove I did in Machinery2. How are you doing with it? On their web site they have tutorials on using the program.

I was waiting for license while not realizing I needed to send my info. (I thought it was only for check payment and Paypal customers would get it automatically). After waiting for 12 hours, I realized my oversight and sent them an email. Withing 2 minutes I got everything needed. Now time to
experiment.
