Some better light

Unread post by paulmurphy »

I got Joe Cornish's book on the Northumberland coast with a book token I'd been given at Christmas and it inspired me to have a trip to the sea yesterday afternoon, there was quite a bit of cloud cover, but a few breaks as the sun went down.

These were taken on Cresswell beach (A700)

There is a holiday home park that overlooks the beach, with a fantastic view.

This is roughly their view

And this is looking along the coast from a rocky outcrop

All three are great but I like second most. I'd give first and second a bit more saturation, but well... you probably already make them to look like those scapes really looked :D

Hi Murph - great shots - I really love the colour in all three. #3 is my favourite. You seem to have got a good dynamic range - is this in camera DR, or PP (or just great light)? I've thumbed through the Joe Cornish book in the shop, but if you can keep
us supplied with lovely shots then they'll be no need to buy it :D .

Very nice shots. Can't realy choose one but if I have to I would pick #3. Looks like there is some unsharpness, perhaps caused by resizing.
