When I was capturing this kinds of tyhings every time I wanted to capture like Gustav but every time I was feeling that the appropriate lens is really missing , but anyway I am representing you the result to which I could get with the help of my SAL75-300 which is extremely soft at 300 mm
After I will share with another shots also..

Yes, Gustav. Armen took the shots here in Armenia.
Dear Gustav thank you for comment!!
Similiar to you I know where and in what mountains in Armenia eagles and this kind of bigger birds are flying, hunting and sleeping and I am able to observe them from not so far distance but at least 250-300mms are needed to take nice shots because they are realllllly high, but my experience was that if you want to capture an eagle at first you should find the appropriate mountain where are lost of eagles, and after to climb to the top of the highst one. After you will see that they are coming near some times and you will have a good opportunities to capture them, but there is still one important thing, that one should have really good lens with good sharpness and no abberation because in most of the cases you have a white clouds at the background which is leading to the huge aberration and no sharpness at 300mm. That's why I took Minolta beercan and now I want to take Sony 70-300G, if I can get that lens I promise to represent you many many varieties of endemic types of birds which are living in Armenia, they are a lot believe me. Armenia is a very very little in area but it is very rich in variety of flora and fauna.
