Wildlife Photgrapher of the Year disqualified

Quite shocked when I saw this story today but also remembered that I was amazed at the photograph when I first saw it and had my own doubts, the picture looked too good.

Tame wolf or not it's a fantastic shot, and there is no proof as yet that it was a 'staged' shot. What happened to the element of doubt, the photographer swears it was not staged.

I never cease to be amazed by the patience and dedication of wildlife photographers and film makers. I don't know if this is normal behaviour for a wolf so can't comment but it seems incredibly unlikely you would get such a shot.

At least he didn't photoshop the wolf in, so I'll give him credit for that at least

It is a nice shot, but obviously if it is staged, then that kinda kills it, esp as the rules say it's a no no.
