hi all
how does the sony18-70 kit lens compare image wise with the sigma 18-250 hsm allowing of course the zoom range. i tried a sigma on a nikon d90 in camera world chelmsford and like the handling and the silent focusing it was so smooth, i am thinking of getting one.

The Sigma is miles ahead - just very much better. It's what we use.
