Just wanted to say hi!

Unread post by [SiC] »

Hello all!

Just wanted to swing by and see how all my old friends are doing. :D
I don't do much forum:ing these days and for some reason photoclub alpha completely fell off the charts :(

As for life in the real world, things are well - my girlfriend gave birth to our second son on the first of februari and his name is Maximilian :D
I've had my summer vacation but will only work this week and next, then I will go on parental leave for about a year...

Anyway, I hope you are all doing great and I will at least try to be more involved in the forum in the future...

Best regards,
Sebastian/Zeb!

And I was wondering, what has happened with and around you!? :D

Hi Sebastian!

An other beautiful baby to the World from you! : ) Maximillian has the eyes of his handsome big brother and the charm that runs in the family...

Congratulations! Wow, now you're father of two and you'll have a lot on your hands; mostly someone cute. : ))

I admire the laws in Sweden which allow for parental leaves for the father as welll as the mother. :) At least you'll take lots and lots of photos of the kids....

Welcome back! And don't go away....but if you really have to go away again, can you arrange to come by with the news of your newborn daughter at that time for a change? :D She would look chic alongside two boys!

Nice to hear from you!

Hi Zeb - great to hear from you again. Many congratulations on the birth of your second son :D - lovely news. I also hope you'll find some time to pop by occasionally. I'm sure we'd all like to see some more of your great B&W shots as well as to see how things are looking in Sweden.

Forums definitely should take second place to family! Congratulations, and good to have you drop in.

Hello Yildiz!

As usual you are such a heart warming person, makes me really wonder what I've missed out on being "on leave" :)
It is really nice to talk to you again!
Sweden is great in many aspects, for example the possibility for either the mother or father to take care of the children for quite a long time. With Dante Madelene was at home for one year, and I was home for almost seven months (including some vacation, not all parental leave days).
Now Madde has been home for six months and will have three more weeks vacation starting off my parental leave :D

I will certainly try and not stay away for such a long period this time, but if it would happen it is always possible to check out my personal home page to see latest photos (if you are curious), the link is in my profile :)

Fact is we feel content with two children, but sometimes Madde nags me about a little girl...

Btw, I don't know what happened, I just had sort of a drop in forum activity.. . and it particularly affected PCA. Sorry!

Thanks Doc! Fact is that I was on course in the beginning of this week, and the teacher was born Armenian! I made sure to point her the direction to your photos :D

:D Well, we did a couple of things indeed but you need not worry yourself that much on what you missed.

It's always a good change to hear from someone who did something different in a period he/she spent away. :)

I was merely kidding about the third child and for it to be a nice, sweet girl! But there's still a little truth in there, you know, every father needs a daughter so that he can shed tears of happiness when he is giving her hand away and feel proud that he created that gorgeous creature! :D ( Ok, I'm elaborating...but the experience of a little girl may only be an added-value for a good father.)

: ) All said with good intentions and mirth and of course it's your decision at all accounts... Enjoy your lovely, healthy boys! : )
