Sony's got a busy year ahead!

Sony just anounced it will invest $1,2 billion to double its CMOS production capacity.

We know Sony produces for other major companies as well. Maybe this means they see sales going up for there own camera's as well.

I read that Sony bought-back from Toshiba a semiconductor plant (that they sold to Toshiba years ago for almost double the price they are paying now...) but I understand it is initially for produce cellphone's sensors/cameras, not DSRL sensors
