Shame about the blob on the lens (foreground centre right)....but this has confirmed that the A100 is as good as I remember (Blackpool Sands near Kingsbridge Devon UK)....18-55 lens btw

Glad to see there was some sunshine down in Devon today, and to hear that the A100 lived up to your memory of it :D . I expect that you have to be there in January to see the beaches so empty?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Well this beach would always be packed out in good weather in the school holidays, but there are loads of beaches that stay quiet all year round, the key is access, if you have to walk a little to get to the beach, it will be quieter....if you have to walk say 1 mile, it will be deserted....human nature
