You may know that Burns Night has just passed and some of you of Scottish descent may even have participated in such events. I thought it would be a good time to post a couple of pictures in memory of this great Scot. Firt there is a picture of the cottage in Alloway where he was born. Then a "close up" of his monument and third the monument's setting near the River Doon and finally a picture of the famous bridge over the River Doon all in Alloway near Ayr in Scotland. The last picture of the bridge to follow as DK will only allow three pictures in one go.
