Good morning

Unread post by paulmurphy »

I was up early this morning and down at the coast for day-break, here are a few images from St Mary's, I haven't photographed here for a while and it is a great place to visit.

Even though it before 6 am there were three other photographers there. All pictures Sony A700 + Minolta 28 - 135 or KM 17 -35, plus Cokin Grad

Before the sun rise (8 image panorama)

Sun above the horizon now (bit of flare in lower right hand corner, but I wanted to leave the photographer in)

Thanks for looking

Gosh Paul - stunning  . I especially like the colours in the panorama. Getting them posted up on the forum so quickly is dedication indeed.

Nice to wake up to such beautiful sky colours and to witness the transition of the colours and the light.

:D Thanks for sharing, Paul.

My fav is the first one, very nice. Boy the tide looks like it was coming in fast.

My vote would go for the second, though the first one is very beautiful too.

Thanks for the comments guys, the tide does come in quite fast and cuts the island off, people do get caught out and stuck there sometimes, even though its only a short causway it does get quite deep.

Here are a couple of more shots from the same shoot you may like to see

Some very nice images - I think the second one in the first lot you posted is my favourite .
