Am I really the first new member since October last?

I'm a long term Minolta fan who has been forced into the Sony fold (not that I regret it). I currently use a K-M 7D and and an Alpha 900 with the same range of lenses serving both.

I see lots of good advice here and hope to learn lots from you all. I also have an immediate problem that I'll post elsewhere if I find the appropriate place.

Welcome. There is a 'rival' Sony Alpha forum, too, which may attract some people, with it's slicker facade and less technical, but no less informative angle.

I visit both forums. There is always something to learn from both.
