55-200 lens with Sony VCL-DH1758 on NEX6

I have been trying out my NEX6 with the E-mount 55-200 and the Sony VCL-DH1758 tele convertion attached. I have been very happy with the results so far and am looking forward to getting out to practice more with this combo. This image was taken at my cottage on Georgian Bay last week. 1/400 @ f/8.

Nice entry picture! I imagine that humming birds are tricky to capture in flight like this.

The VCL-DH1758 lens adapter is also interesting. You seem to get nice bokeh balls in the background with it. Do you find any compromises with it?

Which lens are you using? The Sony Nex telephoto zoom is 55-210 so just wondered if a typo had snuck in .

Thanks to you all for your welcoming comments on my first post to the forum. I look forward to submitting many more in the future.
Last week we still had lots humming birds around the feeders, probably topping up before their journey south.
Sorry for the typo, yes the lens is the 55-210 not 200 as I posted. I love this lens especially with the tele converter attached. Regarding the teleconverter, I can find no faults with it so far. It does need a 49-58mm step-up ring to attach to the lens but there is absolutely no loss of light when attached. Too bad that Sony discontinued manufacture of this as it's a very good product. I bought mine on E-bay a few weeks ago. I highly recommend this combo.
