I was in a Yodobashi this morning looking around. Not planning to buy anything. As usual, they had a section with cheap, plastic, film cameras which are popular with some of the photo artistes.
I took a snap of it. About US$50 at current exchange rates. By the way, some of you may have seen, held, or used a Holga and some of the other cheap, plastic, film cameras. Those are high-quality, well made, precision instruments compared to the Diana.

I saw this advertisement here in Bangkok a couple of days ago and noticed that the woman is holding a Diana camera. Her's has a flash attached, but the one I had in the 1960s had no provision for a flash.
Note how she is holding her index finger on top as if there is a shutter button up there like is typical for most cameras. The Diana though has a cheap mechanical lever shutter release on the cheap plastic "lens" barrel.
