Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!
Very nice sets, Valery, and the video is beautiful... there's enough light to make shooting possible, that's great. The beaver easily viewed.
The second set with rain drops changing the surface of the water is a neat scenery. I just adore such clouds in the horizon.
Sury, the composition angles are well thought. The cell phone must be easier to use than the heavy equipment. The angles+the chosen scenery are appeasing to the viewer. Keep shooting with this gem!
Thanks for sharing both,
Yildiz

Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!
Thank you Valery and Yildiz.
I am learning. This is a different beast, I admit. I will stop the 64MP experiment and switch to Pro mode where I can
control the shutter, iso and WB manually.

So far I like what you done with your phone. Good picture!
A few more pictures from the phone. It's so bad, I left my camera bag at home by mistake ...

Defiantly not bad!
Sury! I want to ask you to take comparative pictures of the same object without zoom and with optical zoom. As far as I've read, your phone has an optical telephoto lens. It's very interesting to see the result. For example, take your second shot and take it in two versions.

Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!
Valery, I have a Samsung S21 5G basic camera which does not have optical zoom. The S21 Ultra does have a optical zoom and hybrid zoom.ValeryD wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 2:07 am Defiantly not bad!

All I have is digital zoom.
Here is the album with 3 sets of images at 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 10, 20, 30 zoom. Except for the yellow roses where I was too close to get 30x. All were taken with me in the same position.

Thank you so much Sury!
Even if it is a digital zoom, it still has very high quality pictures and great resolution! The Samsung camera is very impressive.

Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!
Valery, indeed. I was quite pleased with the zoom up to 4x.
I am trying to figure out the camera settings and controls. This was yesterday evening. Sort of golden hour moment.
And a crop of the above.

Yes Sury, Samsung still has a good camera, for comparison with Xiaomi, photos, the first 1x, the second with zoom 2x and the third with zoom 4x. The third is just awful ...
