Lovely detail on Plumeria, Henry.

A couple of wild roses from this morning. The sunlight was very bright, providing no diffused light...but I still liked shooting these...

There's even a small bee buzzing around the pink rose blossoms, which I only noticed while processing... It's really subtle and to the right of the roses.

You must have one of the sharpest pair of eyes, Henry! : ) It really is sort of camouflaged nicely and is pretty small...Good catch!

I suppose it comes with the territory; Good photographers notice everything about a photo, from proportions to every little element that's framed in there.

Hi Yildiz - I like the way that the light almost seems to be bursting out of the flowers in the first shot - a very intense red.

Ironically I seem to be suffering from Hayfever this year and so I haven't felt like crawling amongst the blooms today.

Ok - I'll hazard a guess The colours look quiet saturated, so I guess this is boosted. It is shot in to the light so some hdr-like technique to bring out the shadows. The bokeh is a bit wirey and some blurring has been added to addres this. Any chance you'll put me out of my misery ?

Very vibrant wild Roses Yildiz and nice focus depth...couldn't see hardly any nice soft parts for Yildiz though

Lovely Lotus KB, and some really nice artistic composures there Lonnie and Henry.

I'm working nights for the next few weeks, so I took the kids for a walk around the block this morning. Here are 2, taken with the 28-105. Both are in-camera JPEGS resized and auto-sharpened Irfanview.

I believe that's a bumblebee Dusty, very hard too get one sitting still usually, here they are anyway.

Here's a few that my wife took last week. The first 2 straight from the camera, the 3rd I had to crop a bunch of distracting OOF flowers on both sides.

All taken with the KM 28-105, re-sampled and auto sharpened in Irfanview.

Yes it is. I took a few other shots, but none with them both in focus. I could have stayed longer and tried harder, but with 2 in the stroller and 2 walking beside me, that gets a bit tough!
