For a human you created a very nice web

Just kidding. I agree with the gents above. It prety hard getting a macro shot focussed with the shallow DOF when shooting macro handheld. You did well.

Nice one Dennis - the shallow dof seems to work best in the first one for me - both great shots though

Great macro's indeed, especially with the thin DOF. You did unfortunately lose sharpness and some detail in both, which is the real power of (near) 1:1 macro shots.

Wow Sury - you're getting that stacking business well sorted out (I love the buttery smooth background as well!)

I agree with Birma. Just curious Sury, but what it the green halo on the right side of the flower?

Thank you.
That green halo is buds behind the flower that are just coming into focus. If continued for another 10-15 shots, they would
have appeared sharp in focus. I could redo by removing last couple of shots and see if that goes away or at least retouch it
with a shot that is couple behind in the sequence. I enjoy watching the image develop on Zerene Stacker. There is a box to check
that says observe as adjusted which I find very educational when I see something going awry after a shot. Hope that answers your question.
