yeah, probably somebody can put a link to this thread on DPR and get more complains about Precision...

I had to send an a700 to Precision because of serious back focus issues and I include 7 detailed photographs with back focus issues. Twice they sent it back to me with a letter stating they had cleaned the sensor including a letter on how to take photos to control blur. HUH? My 700 had become a manual focus camera. I called Sony and sent it to Sony in Texas and with in 5 days Texas replaced the SI Screen and Focus Scene and recalibrate the camera for focus. It’s fine now.

This is my understanding and I do not know if its true today, but at the time I sent in my camera Precision Camera, they did not consider the Sony camera a “High End Camera” and never made it to the proper group of technical professionals in the repair group. Disconcerting as this may be, I sure hope it has chanced today.
