Laziness was born before me.
It was reluctant to return to the camera in a hotel, photo from the phone.

Lovely clouds and breaking waves and they converge nicely in this frame.
Thanks for sharing, ValeryD. The weather certainly is very different where I am.

No doubt that the driver feels how close the lovely, wind-blown furred face really is: at the nape of his neck!
Wonder why dogs love feeling the wind in their faces?

I am glad people are still taking photos with their tiny sensor cameras! I got a 1" Sony RX100 (sensor is too big for this thread) a few months ago so recently I have not used my Canon S95 or Canon G16. I might have a smartphone photo or two that might be worth posting here though. I will have to check.

Actually, Henry, it's good idea to post some pictures from cell phones. What about make new thread about cell phones cameras? I start thinking to update my Samsung Note 3 for something new with good camera on it, like Hauwai P20 pro with 40mp camera and Leika lenses. But I don't wanna spend that much for cell phone, may be something like Xiami Mi A3 or Mi Mix 3. By DxO they have great 20mp cameras on it.

Apple announces it will pay licensing fee to 'Shot on iPhone' contest winners after complaintsbakubo wrote:Today I was in the Gare du Nord train station in Paris and they had huge iphone 6 advertising posters. I estimate that they were about 6x4 meters. Here are some photos of the posters. The photos are printed very large. Of course, any camera is capable of taking good photos with care and these photos have all had a lot of post-processing done, I think, but Apple is starting to highlight the camera ability of the iphone now. Naturally, when you get close you see the resolution isn't good, but from a normal viewing distance for that size print they look good. I saw a few similar advertisements in Madrid, but they were much, much larger on the sides of buildings. No action or anything like that, of course.

Valery the phone you have lets you take great shots.
I hope you are still in Flamingo country. Manitoba & Saskatchewan having fierce
weather. As cold as the 1978/79 when I lived there.

No, I'm already at home in Manitoba and getting frost in full -37... But tomorrow I will drive a car to you in BC. I hope it will not be covered with snow on the way.
