Kenko TC for Sony/Minolta seems to be hard to get hold of in Sweden, at least new ones

Order from China. I got my Kenko auto extension tubes for Alpha (8-contact) that way. My converter was from eBay as well, checking carefully that it was an eight-pin, digital type because there are new, eight-pin, non-digitally coated and also some new five-pin old models out there.

So far the "pocket rocket" is proving to be quite a neat little gem
With sufficient light AF is quite fast (I have D7D you know), and the lens seem to be pretty sharp even at f/2.8
I hardly have used it above f/2.8 so I don't know how far the CA hangs on but there is "some" at f/2.8 - but I think it is a lot less intrusive than from my Siggy 70-300 non-APO, so no biggie.

I love the bokeh from this lens

Seems like a very nice lens. I have been eyeing the CZ 135 and the 135 STF, but I would be happy with a 135 Minolta also. I have been trying to find one, scanning Tradera and Blocket every few days. If you dont mind me asking, what did you end up paying in Kronor?

I am very happy with the lens so far I paid SEK 2000:- for it, seems to have been a good price.

All in all I think Minolta lenses are in short supply on auction sites such as Tradera. They used to be in plentiful supply just a year ago. I guess that's due to the growing popularity of the Alpha system. And I'd rather shop nationally than internationally when it comes to lenses.

I'd like a beercan as my next lens, but the prices has gone berzerk on some sites - for example the "baby beercan" sold on Tradera for SEK 1450:- recently, rediculus!

Im also for buying as locally as possible.

That's funny! When I went in to the OR for my wife's C-section w/ my A350, the nurse said I couldn't take pics until after the baby was out. I told her I would use it sans flash, and the Doc looked up and said "I have that exact same camera!" He okayed the shooting.

I got the shots, and the Doc and I later talked photography - after Lilly was safely here.

What is meant by a "crossed X" version of the Minolta AF 135mm ?
I do own one, but never realised that there are any special versions, so would appreciate any information.
