Unread post by stevecim »

I fill like taking a trip to Armenia just so I can buy some of these old lenses Doc and Armen keep posting about.
I don't think these lenses ever made it to Australia. maybe I should start importing them :) is there anyone left making new lenses in that part of the world? :)

just looking around, found this site, maybe of interest to someone ;)

Stephen,
Thanks for the link. My source(s) have been eBay and a frequent visit to few pawn shopts. I picked up a 55mm/f1.8 M42 for
US$2.00 at a pawn shop. I did buy couple of lenses from eBay, in MD mount, Tmount and M42 mount.

with best regards,
Sury

Stephan , I think that the VerniSage will be your lovely place in the world if you come to Armenia :D  , there are a lot of cheap lenses which are excellent by their quality, your visit to Armenia is good idea I assure you! for instance you can by here 10 lenses which Sony's analogs will cost you $5000 or $10000 but you will pay for them max $500 and airfare :D
