A very nice cloudy sky, Jeff.
I'll contribute with the bubbles from a small waterfall ...and the tomato plant that I allowed to grow from an accidental seed that had taken root in one of the flower pots. All in 2010.

Re: Looking Back
Excellent shot of the tomatoes. But now I have a question. Why "tomato by accident" for a caption?

Re: Looking Back
It's a near miss. Early morning light with a big lens resting on the railing of a boardwalk (600mm f4.0).
It's just sharp enough on the head to forgive the blur in the body. I like to think it is painterly.

Re: Looking Back
Hi, Jeff;
Let's first remember ahead that they do say that 'there are no accidents but only fate'.
It's sort of accidental because it was not planned by me. I never meant to grow any tomatoes that season. Apparently the seed came with the potting soil I got for some tulips and the tomato seed took to roots under the tulips. When the tulip withered the tomato seedling came into view and I just let it have its own life after that. Basically it took over the balcony estate and became a giant crawler and bore tomato fruits!

The Blue Heron looks very good, JBTaylor.
I love how the bird and its actions are fully mirrored on the stagnant water surface.
Thanks for sharing,
