Re: Recent flower photos
That's a lot of beautiful flowers Sury. By the way, I noticed that on some of your photos you have "Sury Maturi " and on others "IAAFL." I'm willing to hear the explanation if you're willing to share it.

Re: Recent flower photos
I changed my signature to IAAFL earlier this year when I started a blog of my personal journey.
All my photos since beginning of this year have IAAFL as my signature. I described what IAAFL
means in About section.
You can check my blog here: https://iaafl.info/
It is purely a personal endeavor to capture my thoughts and feelings, my journey and found it to
be very therapeutic. I try to draw parallels between my journey and my photography. Check it out
when you get some time and let me know what you think.

Just read your about page and what a great story behind the name. I also read a couple of the blog posts and think that the "F" could stand for Filosophy as well. Very interesting your thoughts, especially blog 2.

The closer you get closer to the subjects, the better they look, Sury.
Nice tulips indeed.
Thanks for sharing,

Re: Recent flower photos
Yildiz,
Thank you. I was very impressed with the lens. For a UWA lens it does a good job of close focusing and when it
nails, the details are very amazing. I am sure, the large MP sensor on A99M2 doesn't hurt either.

JT,
I did and on Flickr, it shows more details in the foreground. Perhaps, not enough, I hasten to add.

Thank you, Sury;
I love the 1st and 2nd photos of the Gladiolas for how the light works on them; both back lighting and fore-lighting.. The third of the lilies is full of lovely sharp details of an aging lily.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Reflection Detail in a Droplet - 29.05.2021 -10:43am - A6000-Tamron 90 mm.
The cactus and other plants around the Aloe Vera were captured in highly-defined details in a single water droplet on the bloom. I just love it!

Thank you, Sury;
I love the spherical/fish-eye look or the telescopic look as you mentioned.
You have a rose that's almost purple and that's very extraordinary! Lovely Echeveria succulent species and I love the tiny flower in the third..
Thanks for sharing.

Incidentally, I'm sharing my 3 takes on the Aloe Vera Blooms which I find abstractly interesting; for the intriguing forms and blooming style.
