Dogs in snow

Basil is a bit like Tango.... Much deeper than this and he disappears! But he'd never seen snow before and looked just a little suspicious. Excuse the blur but he just doesn't know he's meant to stand STILL for a portrait.

After the introductions of a first-time encounter are over with Basil discovering that there's a new opportunity of having fun among the 'big white blanket', I'm sure you'll find Basil posing with the new friend 'snow' quite patiently...They just love poking snow until they settle for the idea that it's there for their enjoyment and conquering. That's when they surprise you with lots of weird moves of excitement.

Same time and he STILL wouldn't stand still. I didn't set the ISO higher than 200 so with a lens that only opens to f3.5 at the short end and f6.3 at the long end (Tamron 18-280) he's going to be fuzzy.....

If you'll pardon a bit of playing with words, it looks to me like that dog's going to be fuzzy no matter how sharp the picture is!

Hi Tony,

Apparently Basil is much more cooperative when there's a window glass between himself and snow! Enjoying a very proud moment in this photo and he ceertainly looks very cute, fluffy and all...nothing like his fuzzy appearances in the previous photos where he looks as though he's filming his very own 'Basil Witch Project' in your backyard.
