Body Parts

Unread post by bakubo »

In 1993 I spent 10 weeks on a camping safari going through South Africa (from Capetown), Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya (ending in Nairobi). On average we could get a shower about once every 3 days or so, but sometimes when we were doing lots of bush camping we might go as long as a week without showers. These are my very dirty, deeply suntanned feet. :) I bought some el cheapo rubber Teva-style sandals in Africa and wore them most of the time.

Come on Henry, in the Corps you could go longer than a week with only the canteen showers, remember?

Hi Henry

this is a very strong picture - it tells a story. Them being your own feet makes it even stronger and shows you're not scared to share some of yourself. Kudos.

Yes, I remember. :) My feet were generally pretty clean though because I was wearing boots and changing my socks everyday. Got to take care of your feet! :)

Come on, surely other people have some photos to post. This is an easy one and there are always lots of subjects around. If nothing else, you can use yourself! :)

This is my wife's eye:

Great shot, Stephen! What technique did you use to de-colorize the large hand?

Just use PS CS3 B&W, then painted on the layer to reveal the colour hand underneath.

With those sideline posters of glamorous realtors and what appears to be a pair of legs, I'm amazed the players don't suffer occasional loss of attention - text advertisements are bad enough (anyone with a normal brain can't help reading them, including players!) but pix of faces, legs etc round the pitch are a serious hazard to concentration. But they need the money, I guess. These banners also spoil photos.

Alright, gross out alert! This is a whole body coming out of another. Yes, it's the extraction photo from my wife's c-section.

my son and grandson born after 30 weeks, one of twins , when the mum had one my son had the other down his shirt to give the baby a feel of a heartbeat etc, they were only out of the incubators for about 15 minutes a day, they came through some really tough times but they are healthy children now and their first birthday is next month

Gio, I had to do the same with my 3 year old, as she was also a preemie. She's fine now.
