Hello bossel, :D

Ich bin hier; Je suis ici; I'm here; Buradayım !! :D :D

My Daddy is visiting so I'm held up a little but been reading the posts and observing the photos. Lately there've been many nice bird shots in the forum and I must say that your three new samples are very nice. Enjoying the tides and waves in your part of the world it seems. Lovely, lively events!

Congratulations on your new book by the way.

I'm here too. :D ... and I would pick the first shot as great composition and tight (yes! tight) framing (wave wise).

I check in from time to time. Nice shots! I like #1 and #2 the best.

By the way, I haven't seen DK around for quite awhile. Is he traveling or something?

Working in Lisbon for two weeks, but still checking in from time to time. I have my camera and hope to take some shots this weekend. I have brought a Joby Gorilla Pod with me, but I do not like it compared to a fullsize tripod. I will have to trust to SSS. Weather very pleasant, almost too nice - there is never a cloud to make the sky interesting :D . Around 24 degrees which is almost too hot for this Brit.

No less than three high school chums have moved into my neighborhood with spouses too...I've been entertaining guests! Sadly, none of them are photographers. :(

Oh, that's good news. :) A few weeks ago I recommended to him that he take Shirley someplace warm where she could walk barefoot on the beach. Maybe he is somewhere on the coast in Mexico.

Hi bossel. I'm here, although I haven't been anything like as active forum and photography wise recently. :(

Despite enjoying my seventh decade I am still working ten to the dozen. I run a large government agency training centre so much of my day is spent dealing with far too many emails and with a two hour round trip drive (down and up the infamous A1) every day there isn't much left during the week, energy and enthusiasm wise.

I haven't been totally inactive though. With Spring knocking on the door my thoughts have been turning to rolling the bike out of the garage for an outing and I have been playing with my new version of PS:

And next weekend we are off to Jamaica for a couple of weeks holiday where I shall take squillions of photographs, sail, dive and drink a lot :D

BTW, enjoyed your book of the sea. I recently did a 50th birthday party bash and produced a Blurb book for them. I like the product and by creating full page templates in CS4 and adding them as full bleed images I am not restricted with their layouts.

There. Much better. Thanks for the post as it encouraged me to get back on line.

I had an uncle die Monday morning. All week was funeral arrangements, family and friends in from out of town, and Friday the funeral.

At the luncheon afterward, I was called into duty to take all the family pictures, since everyone is together. I've been busy all night burning 3.78 Gig DVDs full of photos for everyone to take home before they leave. Just a straight dump of everything, no time to adjust exposures, straighten, crop or anything.

Thanks everybody for sending a sign of life :D I am myself busy in creating a photo book for my fathers 70th birthday. It'll have around 120 pages, that's a lot of work. After a very rainy and cold winter and start of the year, the weather starts to improve and I hope to get more time to go out for some shooting.

Post-PMA doldrums, much? I've been taking it easy, rearranging my apartment, optimizing the living room for boardgaming with the friends who came to town, including better lighting. Not much photography related, though, unless you count me harrassing my friends with flash photography while they played Rock Band...indoor concert photography to come. :D
