Nice to see the colour returning to the landscape.

A sure sign that spring is here is the daffodils around the base of Warkworth castle

A700 and 17-35mm this afternoon.

very nice, Doesn;t make a very effective moat for a castle though .. maybe in a monte python skit!

Lovely! I like that patch of blue sky, I get the impression those clouds were really moving at the time.

After Javelin's comment, a quote comes to mind (but it isn't Monte Python), "Have fun storming the castle!"

Looks like a gigantic old warrior-lady decided to give the fight a break to fill her wide-spread skirt with spring flowers to prepare for the spring dance...

May not be the best analogy yet but that's what sprung to my mind when I first saw this photo Paul.

A good angle looking uphill and nice colours.
