This is a photo from 2003 of an old, abandoned road house/bar in East Texas. Back in the 1960s while driving to my grandparents' house in Athens, Texas we would always go by this place on a lonely stretch of a small two-lane country highway. My father would usually stop for a break, maybe have a beer, while my mother and us kids would wait for 15 minutes out in the car. He would come out with grape, orange, or strawberry sodas for the kids and a coke for my mother.

This old house in the Florida panhandle has almost completely been overgrown by vegetation. Almost like some long lost Mayan temple in Guatamala or a ruin in Cambodia.

This is an old, derelict farm house in the country in Louisiana.

Everyone feel free to post some photos!
