New 24-105/4 SSM

Unread post by bossel »

Sorry to hijack your attention  There have been rumours about this lens quite some time ago. Somewhere someone posted something (well, a fax with information about that lens). A hoax?

I certainly would be interested in such a lens (or similar), it would be a good length on APS-C and FF. Price should be like the 70-300/G SSM.

Your thoughts?

This is the original 'accidently' released email that I saw a long time ago over at DPR, it could be a hoax of course...but it does look pretty good just the same.

It's a hoax. The striped pattern in the paper is consistent throughout the scanned manual, except behind the lens specs, where it turns to mush.
