Meet Tundra

She is an Alaskan Malamute It's her Birthday today. she is 15 years old and is pretty pleased with her self because I think she just caught a frog or a mouse. She belongs to friends of ours and I remember when she was a puppy trying to catch anything that moved. She's much loved and still pretty healthy but I'm afraid her time is short.

She's lovely!
She's big and large enough to deserve a huge hug and with that wonderful fur I'm sure she feels soft and warm. I have a tendency to love dogs like this one and the quality of light delivers sharp details of the fur. It's a good photo.

I hope you enjoy her presence for many years to come yet.

Thanks. Her hair is so thick you lose your hands in it when she greets you. shes happiest in a snow storm where she makes a little pocket in a snow drift and curls up inside so the wind blows over her.
