nice. were they selling their statues like a roadside stand?

They do not look like candids, more like portraits where the subject was fully aware. They are pretty good and the fill-in flash has worked well, but candid is not the right word.

sorry javelin, yes they were at a sort of viewpoint part of blyde river canyon , it wasnt an easy sell as there were about 20 stallholders and just a few tourists around, maybe coaches come along later, the one in the first pic says she was the model for the little carving she is holding

Thanks for posting! I like the second one the best. Good work.

I suspect you are right, coaches probably show up from time to time and that is why so many are set up there with their wares.
