It is the Water of Leith. My guess is he was about 50 feet away.

Where i live the estate ajoins the whistable marshes and you often see these guys around. Unfortunately one or more has visited my pond and made close aquaintances with some of my fish. The huge wet footprints were a bit of a giveaway:-)
Some days you eat the bear, other days the bear eats you....
