A single shot

On the International Music Day (June 21), a ceremony of National classic music was held in Komitas Park, in front of the State Conservatoire. Made a quick shot before the musicians and singers got on stage. EXIF is included. Hope I'll resist to harsh critics.

thats a very atmospheric shot, you can almost hear musicians in the background trying to quietly put their instruments and music together without being very quiet at all, the least little noise sounds like a thunderclap,

I like the different light that falls on the instrument as opposed to the statue and it is easy to assume that classical music will be played.
A simple image that says much. That is a good thing.

With a double bass of that type I'd have guessed at national or traditional music, not classical - quartet or something like that. Lovely light on the instrument and a nice angle to it.

I like it. The warm color of the instrument with the cool blue of the background and statue is very nice.

Well lit Instrument against sculputre and dark (stormy?) sky in background makes this shot really atmospheric.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. As you may noticed from the EXIF, it was shot at 1600 ISO with + compensation.

I echo the earlier comments - great picture. It looks to me like the sculpture has just put down the instrument to take a rest

Of course, this picture also means something else .... the Doc is taking photos again - great news ! Glad to see that you and the A700 have been out and about Doc.
