Split focus screen for A900 viewfinder ?

Unread post by InTheSky »

I remember that on my Minolta 7D, i have been able to find a Split focus screen to use with my manual focus lens. The split screen works fine.

I don't know if anybody of you have ever found something similar for the A900 ... , I know the camera is news ... but if some one have tried third party , or even old focus screen from Minolta (who knows :-) ).

Regards,

I have a boxful of old screens from the 7000 and 9000, but they do not include any focus screens. The fitting is different to the A900, where the screen has locating pins. You can not just use an older screen in the A900.

Here is my answer to Brightscreen.com :
Yes we have considered this and may take time to pursue this soon.

Kind regards,

I have asked them why they have not yet created a split screen for the A900, explaining that the A900 is probably one of the best Full frame on the market to adapt manual focus lens on it.

Hope the "soon" will not be so long :-)
