I didn't suggest that the new models "should be" anything. I simply pointed out the reality that the driving force behind the new models is not to add new features it's to reduce production cost. The trend is smaller, lighter, less expensive materials. Some technological improvements are bound to be included since the hardware and firmware have continued to evolve and can be incorporated at no additional costs. To see this simply compare an a350 with an a380. There is no way to confirm it but I would bet that Sony is losing money on every a700 and a900 while it makes while they make a small profit the millions of Cyber-shot Cameras that they sell for $200 each at WalMart.bfitzgerald wrote:You cannot seriously suggest that newer models should be "worse" than older ones.
