Downtown Fort Worth
Here are a couple from a recent trip to Fort Worth. Now I really want a SWA lens so I can capture tall buildings better. On the 'wild blue yonder' shot I had my cheek on the street, and 18mm just wasn't wide enough to capture all of the reflections of the other buildings. Thanks to KevinBarrett for not letting me get splattered while I took the shot!!
C&C always welcome. John

If the last thing you remember hearing is somebody yelling 'CLEAR!!!', assume you've had a problem!!

Hi John, very interesting pictures. It is nice to see the results from the other half of the Fort Worth Photoclubalpha shoot
. I like the reflections in #1. In #2 I think it needs either more reflections as you tried to get, or less and just cut off with the blue tower left. Well done to Kevin for stopping you getting splatted!
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

I remember that corner, and those exact words, "Now I really want a SWA lens!" Here's a few with my narrow-angle lens.

Re: Downtown Fort Worth
I debated cropping the vertical shot, but I felt that I lost too much of the building. I am going to go back whenever I get a SWA...Thanks for the comments. I do appreciate them.. I have a few more to post, but much to do today... John

Re: Downtown Fort Worth
I think the first shot is great. The sunlight leads you to the building on the left.
Keep them coming, John.

I went back again the next day, John. The weather was beautiful and we stayed downtown instead of venturing out to the mosquito-infested riverside. Got to stay through the whole sunset!

Wow!!! I remember thinking how ugly the buildings in the first shot were.... They look stunning in the sunset!!! On my way back from South Padre Island we passed through Downtown Dallas at about sunset... I was trying to look for locations, but after 9 hours on the road, I was a bit punchy... Perhaps a next location????? I keep coming back to 3 as my favorite. The colors are exquisite! They are all beautiful Kevin!

Thank you! I'd definitely be up for some shooting in Dallas. That city is a blank canvas for me.
