And now for something completely different......
I almost feel bad posting these after such lovely photos. I call these two photos 'Watchtower of the Apocalypse' I and II .
I pass by this tower every day on my way to work. For months I have been trying to make an interesting photo with it. I wanted to use IR, but I could never master the film, and the price was prohibitive, especially for something that wasn't going to make any money. With IR in mind, I came up with the title, thinking of a post-apocalyptic scene. One morning I was on my way out to shoot something else, and I noticed the sun starting to rise behind it. The reds, oranges and yellows reminded me of the pictures of the old above-ground H-bomb tests, so I kept the title. Sorry about the long-winded intro... C&C welcome as always... John

Thanks so much. There is less post processing than you might think. Mostly to change exposure and DRO. I increased saturation some, but other than that, not much. John
