Re: Why no REAL Zeiss lenses for Sony

Well, I think that Sony understands there are people out there that appreciate good solid engineering without frills. hence the A850. This camera is more than me. It is all I realistically will ever need from a camera and then some. I could care less if the lens says Zeiss or Minolta or Sony, as long as it performs. All I am saying is, it would be nice now that we have an affordable top class body, to have the solid no nonsense primes to go with it. The Zeiss primes are already there, are new, are digitally optimized, look and feel great, and if not the very best are still super performers. Just make them with a Sony mount. Or if Sony wants to have them with a Sony name on them thats OK too.
Its just a wish list for me, but may never happen. just my $0.02.
