I took this shot last November on a trip to Vilnius. As we were also venturing into Belarus I thought it best to leave the A700 at home, so took the 5D & Minolta 24-85 instead. This image was taken in the main square - I just love the coloured buildings, which make the place so cheerful.
Shot in RAW and recently processed via DXO, then single-image HDR in Photomatix and finally used the Fuji Velvia 50 film-effect in DXO.
It's a nice tidy looking place, and a nice clean looking shot, I like the achitecture as well...I'm not overly keen on those white lines all over the place in the foreground, but you don't get to have any choice about those....

Very nice Bluebear, #2 and #3 are even better I think. There is very interesting light in #2, I suppose reflections with the snow? I like the contrast of the chocolate box buildings and the modern cars.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
All are very authentic and vivid in the styles and colours they were built in. It looks like a 1:1 human scale dollhouse town (not in an undermining way, please do not misundderstand).
