st andrews , the home of golf and much much more, the castle , the abbey the university, the sea ,the ancient town, the river and the harbour among many other things.

and this from a hill in dundee looking up the river tay into the hills, the river was shimmering just as the photo with the last of low evening sun coming through the clouds, it looked great

Nice scenes Gio, but please do adjust the horizon in the first shot. It is very very beautiful, but inclined a bit. :?

Thanks for sharing Gio67,

That's one of the most beautiful old cities I've seen. I'm so glad it's well-preserved; every stone and architectural aspect look so intact and inspiring. I wish there were more places looking so true to their originalselves still, without being ruined by ignorant architects and contractors in the false attempts of 'achieving' somethings.

Would of loved to see more of this town, especially close-ups from the streets and courts...

I agree the last one has that slightly mysterious quality so it's a winner, the first isn't bad either, I never realized that St. Andrews (castle) was so close to the water...
