A couple of random shots with my new Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6

Unread post by Juanito200 »

Here are a couple with my new toy. It is shap enough when it is stopped down, but wide open leaves a lot to be desired. I hope to post some more after I stretch it's legs in New Braunfels next weekend... John

If you think the 10-20mm f4-5.6 is soft at the edges wide open, you would be very unhappy with the new f/3.5 version...

I had considered that one, but after your article... I decided no. That and $200 bucks more!! BTW The train was shot at ISO 100 10mm focal length and f18 at 1/100 sec. That RR sign on the left looks pretty good at 100%. John

Congratulations John - I like the interesting angles in your shots. This is the one type of lens, an UWA, that I want most at the moment. I've set my heart on an 11-18, but I will also consider a 10-20 if I seem one at a good price. Looking forward to seeing more of your shots ultra-wide :D
