Hi David, I think you should level the horizon in the last shot.

Hi David Antony, :)

I like them. So, it's geese season out there. How exciting! They must be making a lot of interesting sounds to be heard from miles away.

The close-up in the first is neat with lots of details and sharpness and the third is a great scene with all the flock in one frame. As Doctor says, straightening the horizon will improve the scene.

Thank you for sharing, seeing these lovely creatures was nice. :)

Very interesting shots David - I especially like the third shot which shows the whole spectacle of the multitude of geese. I agree with Yildiz that the noise must have been a bit special :D The three pictures would make an interesting goose "triptych" (if you're allwoed to use the term for photographs). Mmm. Perhaps an idea for a challenge 8)

So thats where they all went! We used to see quite a few here in Ontario. I guess the Canadian geese chased them away because the only ones I see now are ones people keep. In fact My 17 Year old daughter didn't beleive that there was such a thing as plain white geese.

hrm.. they taste better too Canadian geese are a little gamey depending how you prepare them, She didn't like it what I told her that either...

Thanks Birma.. here is another part of the spectacle.

Yes they moved to better pastures Javelin. They feast on the potatoes in the fields then head up to Wrangell Alaska. They don't look tasty to me being a veggie, perhaps if I were a Raccoon ;^)
