Re: Shirley - a medical emergency
Shirley has been allowed home instead of needing any more time in hospital. Doing fine. She even managed to lift a 400mm f/2.8 Nikkor VR lens (don't even ask - I have no possible means to use this lens, not even a tripod big enough to support it, but it arrived with the D3S for test).

Now that she's safe, confess why did you tap on her back while swallowing the pill, eh?David Kilpatrick wrote:Shirley has been allowed home instead of needing any more time in hospital. Doing fine. Hmm the whole package probably went close to 10Kg.....clean and jerk?
Greg
ps. That would be a pretty good birding lens, might be worth a few shots on the D50, or was it a D500 I forget...

Thank you for all your good wishes.
I am feeling fine apart from having a reduced lung capacity and I’m sure that will return to normal in a week or two.

Re: Shirley - a medical emergency
David, I have just stumbled across this thread - have been rather out of touch and of course was alarmed to read about Shirley's problems, but relieved that she is doing much better. Best wishes to her for a full recovery.
