Bali - Island of the Gods (My Honeymoon Trip!)

I went to Bali recently (in fact, last week) for our honeymoon! Yeap, I just got hitched. Here are some shots taken during the trip, which I hope you guys can comment on. I'm open to criticism as well as ways to improve my shots, so please go ahead and fire away!

Congratulations!

My main client was in Bali for the last month (he has timeshare weeks there - could even be for six weeks in a row they stay there). Never seen any photos to speak of from him, and he's a professional photographer...

Looks good, the first temple shot is rather dark (next to the sunset one).

Hope the weather was good!

Goa Gajah Temple: The temple for hindus to do their meditation. They will cleanse themselves using the water coming out from the statues before starting their meditation.

Tirta Empul Temple. The famous holy water shrine in Bali. People from all walks of life, and from around the world comes here to cleanse themselves with the holy water. Some would even come with gallon drums to fill it up with the holy water to bring home!

I think Bali is Australia's favourite holiday spot, it does look interesting, I haven't been there though and I can't remember seeing any better shots from anyone who has, good subject choice/content, I really like the statue photos 5 and 6.

Thanks for your kind words, Greg. Really encouraging for me to have someone comment something like that on my photos. Hope I can improve more with your (and everyone else's) encouragement! I really did enjoy myself in Bali. My new wife and myself intend to return there, hopefully in the not so far future (before any babies starts popping out!)...
