I also feel that I have to rework over the images. On my monitor they did not appear to be so muddy. Perhaps calibration problem, or I would have to look into the Post Processing. Someone also asked on another forum, whether I had my filter on. Yes, that's also right. I always keep the Polarizer on the lens.
The filter was also in place for the following shot.

I think you need to invest in a lens shade which can be used with the polarizer, and also maybe get some lens cleaning solution and lint-free cloth (microfibre) and clean the polarizer carefully after first blowing off dust. The pictures look as if you have some light coming on to a filter with a think layer of fine sandy dust on it. If you do see any dust, you must not wipe the polarizer when dry. It's actually better to wash it (just under the tap) to remove very fine dust, before using lens cleaner.

Sand grains might be a problem. In the area where I was snapping, my bag was brushed repeatedly by the sand blowing in the area.
Even today, after the lapse of more than two months, I find the grains settled in the nooks of the camera bag. A gross carelessness on my part. However, I was all alone in the wide stretch of sand and could hardly manage so many things together. Water bottles, tripods, sun-shade glasses, bags. Change of lenses with blowing sands was perilous.

Photoshop is a great program I teach it but sometimes........... keep it simple. Use PP or ap2 with a plug filter called viveza by NIK Software. This took about 30 seconds to do using viveza and I could get rid of the redness in the face using photoshop if I wanted to spend another minute or 2. Viveza is the ticket! Its a magic tough to any picture. No learning required just watch a short 2 minute video on the site. Very cheap also!
