Nice shots Pako. The first one might be improved by removing the blue halo of the glass container? Though tricky to do where it interescts with the leaf.

Upon further consideration I really don't like the version I posted first.. I'll keep this one. Tell your wife thanks for the compliment! We love our colorful house.... Thank goodness Dannelle and I have similar tastes!!!

A 1000W tungsten light from underneath a maple leaf resting on A4 paper and large piece of organic glass (creamy color. What do you want? I didn't have a white one. )

it doesn't really bothers me. I think that blue circle help somehow the flower to not been floating in the meiddle of the black background

pretty obvious, but i like it, i was trying some off camera flash when my grand daughter reached for the flash, it was probably the best of the day

I can not show you an example which is up to date, but hiding the flash behind an open book being read in their sort of situation, bouncing the flash off the pages, works really well.

OK, just what every 'bump to baby' studio promotionshoots here - nude mums to be more often than not with nude dad tastefully wrapping hand on tummy, or existing older kid with ear to tum, etc. You can see them in studio windows and 'bump' shots are a standard portrait offering.
